In agriculture there is environmental damage including soil damage due to excessive use of chemical
fertilizers. Waste is a case of environmental pollution which can cause environmental problems and
deteriorating health for the community, this is caused by liquid waste obtained from various industrial
activities, especially in the food industry because it leaves elements that are immediately wasted. Utilization
of various wastes into organic fertilizer is an effort to overcome the problem of environmental pollution.
Tempe wastewater and papaya’s fruit is one of the waste production has a high organic contains macro and
micro nutrient elements that potentially improve to soil structure and help the process of plant growth. That
the usage on Liquid organic fertilizer applied at the Pakcoy (Brassica rapa L.). This study aims to prove the
effect of both waste, the PO (0%) concentration as control, P1(10%), P2(20%), and P3(30%) against the
growth and productivity of Pakcoy. This research uses a completely randomized design (RAL) then
continued with ANOVA test, LSD test, and Duncan test. The result showed that the POC of tempe wastewater
and papaya fruit waste affected the growth and production of pakcoy plants. The concentration that gives
optimal result is 30%.
