The Implementation of Pharmaceutical Service Standard in Pamekasan District in 2020

Abstract

The pharmaceutical service paradigm has changed its orientation from drug oriented to patient oriented.
Pharmaceutical service standards at the pharmacy are compiled in Permenkes 73th, 2016 as a guideline for
pharmacists in carrying out pharmacy services at the pharmacy. This research was conducted in Pamekasan
Regency with the aim of finding out the description of the implementation of pharmaceutical service standards in
pharmacies in the Pamekasan Regency area. This research is a descriptive study with a survey technique using a
questionnaire. The survey used a questionnaire with convenience sampling technique. The instrument of
questionnaire was developed based on Permenkes 73th, 2016. The method of data analysis was done
descriptively to see the distribution of the implementation of the standard of pharmaceutical services in
Pamekasan Regency. The results showed that the management of pharmaceutical preparations, medical devices and consumable medical materials at 40 Pharmacies in Pamekasan was carried out by pharmacists and assisted by pharmacy technicians, some activities carried out by pharmacy technicians under the responsibility of the pharmacist. In the implementation of clinical pharmacy service standards, there were a number of activities which the majority has not been carried out in the Pamekasan. The activities were documentation of drug information services, counseling documentation, home pharmacy care, documentation of home pharmacy care, monitoring of drug therapy, documentation of drug therapy monitoring, and monitoring of drug side effects.
