This study aims to determine the presence of cefadroxil interactions with food and drinks on the growth of
Staphylococcus aureus bacteria in vitro. This research was conducted in a qualitative experimental manner.
The positive control used was 0,01% cefadroxil antibiotics, the negative control used was sterile aquadest,
and the samples used were bananas and milk. There are 4 concentrations that is 10%, 20%, 40%, and 80%
with three repetitions using the disc diffusion method. The One Way Anova and LSD test obtained p <α
(0.05) so that there were differences in the growth inhibition zones of Staphylococcus aureus at various
concentrations.
