Abstract

Vaccines are biological products which required special handling because they are fragile and easily damaged. Storage and management of vaccines in health service facilities is one of the factors that must be in accordance with the Good Medicine Distribution Method (CDOB) 2020 to avoid fault in distribution and management of vaccines. This research is qualitative research with observational data collection and is descriptive and evaluation. The research used the CDOB 2020 in creating the questionnaire. Data collection was carried out by filling out the questionnaire and viewing documents related to the vaccine storage and management process. The samples in this study were the Belusuh Community Health Center, Lambing Community Health Center, Besiq Community Health Center, Dempar Community Health Center, Tering Community Health Center, Dilang Puti Community Health Center, Muara Pahu Community Health Center and Gunung Rampah Community Health Center. The research results show the percentage value of each assessment indicator, namely personnel and training 96.9% (good), buildings 65.2% (fairly good) and facilities 64% (fairly good), operations 80.7% (good), maintenance 78.7% (good) and qualification, calibration and validation 89% (good). Vaccine storage and management at the West Kutai Regency health center overall required the requirements in the good category.
